The Baby Sleep Handbook

Real Science. Real Life. Zero Cry-It-Out.

Baby sleep advice can make you feel as though there is one correct way your baby should sleep — and that if it isn’t happening, you need to fix something.

I wrote The Baby Sleep Handbook to offer something different.

It is an evidence-based baby sleep guide from birth to three years, bringing together current research, nearly two decades of work with families, and the reality of what nights with a baby actually look like.

We will talk about what normal baby sleep really looks like, night waking, naps, feeding to sleep, sleep associations, contact sleep, bedsharing, settling, sleep training and much more — without assuming that every baby should sleep in the same way.

The aim is not to give you another set of rules to follow. It is to help you understand your baby’s sleep well enough to decide what works for your baby, your family and you.

Coming soon.
